An incredible experience that I can't believe I nearly missed! The entry, which is around $12 per adult, $5 per child, is well worth the experience of walking across the swing bridge. The views are absolutely amazing, and despite it being a daunting experience, I felt safe the full trip. As I simply discovered the place while driving down the West Coast, I couldn't spend much time there, and I was very ill equipped. I crossed the bridge in my high heels! I'd recommend coming prepared - with sensible shoes, bug spray, sunscreen, and water. The tracks can be slippery, but manageable. I did the gold panning experience and though I had to really rush through it we still managed to find gold and the guide was really informative and helpful! If in the area I would DEFINITELY come back and do all the full experiences! Also a great way to conquer your fears!

It was a bit scary going over the swing bridge in pouring rain, thunder and lightning. But we lived to tell the tale. We didn't spend too long on the walks due to weather conditions, but still had a great time. The Buller River was in fine, fast flow.

A not be missed experience for young and old. Absolutely stunning views of Buller Gorge if you are brave enough to take a photo on the bridge. Friendly staff and clean amenities.

Longest swing bridge in NZ. It's much fun, especially for a family. A beautiful brisk walk through the natural wood. It's definitely a must!
