Great spot. Fantastic views from the parking lot and cafe/house area. The cave tour was really good, good to learn some facts about the cave, how the Europeans found and saved it all as well as stalactites and stalagmites. I'm pleased such a great part of nature is being preserved. Oh, and the moa bones inside and being able to hold one that's 25,000 years old was neat.

Absolutely awesome we were super lucky with timing we just rolled on in and got tickets straight away. Super lovely staff and our guide (Nancy) was absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend to do if you drive past

Very cool cave and worth going. Lots to look at and photo. Tour guide gives lots of information and she was funny as. Videos not aloud inside cave for safety reasons and holds up the tour. Torch not needed as the cave has lights.

Our family had a surprisingly great time here. We randomly stopped and ended enjoying a coffee and cave tour. The operator was super kind and we had the opportunity to see cave popcorn for the first time! We also were able to experience complete darkness and it was very cool.
