Little Beehive Co-Op was founded in 2014 by two Nelson creatives, Paula Ossevoort & Rachael Brown. Both looking to connect & collaborate with other artists and have a place to showcase their work. The idea was sparked, the perfect building was found, we had a bunch of local talent & within weeks the doors were open to the public.

If you want some NZ made gifts for friends and family or just want to treat yourself I haven't found a better place in all my travels around NZ. The artists' works are great and not kitchy or derivative while still capturing a sense of place.

Stumbled upon this charming little artist co-op and managed to find a million things I loved! Charming woodworker/ artist Jackie helped with purchases and her enthusiasm was contagious! Incredible metalwork, woodworking, fiber and clay handmade items of high quality from all over New Zealand. I'm thrilled to have found this wonderful gift/art gallery and was able to bring home lots of mementos from my trip to New Zealand. I hope to come back soon and make a "beeline" to this fabulous co-op again!
